ESC takes the privacy of everyone we interact with seriously. We are committed to protecting our clients, suppliers and team members by maintaining best practice data protection processes in line with all UK and EU law including GDPR. In brief, our policy commitment is…

  • We don’t harvest more information that you’re willing to give or more than we need in to deal with your query/request
  • When store your information, we store it securely
  • We have never shared, nor ever will share, your details with a third party
  • We will delete your data should you no longer wish us to keep it

OUR POLICY: We may change this Policy from time to time so please check this page occasionally to ensure that you’re happy with any changes. By using our website, you’re agreeing to be bound by this Policy.

This policy has been created to assure you of our commitments to both the security of any data we hold and as to how we use that data. We do not ever, under any circumstance, give your details to anyone else.

We only gather the information that you provide to us and then only to have enough information to deal with your request/query. We will never ask you for any information that is unnecessary and, if for any reason you considered it to be so, you should decline to give the information or request that we remove it from our database.

We will only use the information you have provided to us in order to reply your request/query or, if you have subscribed to our newsletter, to send you relevant news, updates and information. We will never give, sell or share your information to anyone outside of ESC for any reason.

OUR WEBSITE & EMAILS: Non-sensitive details (e.g. your email address) are normally transmitted over the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. The website has security measures in place to ensure it is only administered by those authorised to access it. Our emails, however, are not secured.

This policy does not cover any other websites to which we may provide a link as we think they may be of interest. If you do use these links to leave our site, please note that we are not responsible for the content or security of the external websites nor are we responsible for the privacy and security settings. Please ensure you check the privacy statement of the site in question.

Our website cookie policy can be found at www.escuk.com/cookie-policy/ and confirmation of the fact we use cookies and a link to the policy are found on our site landing page. We do not harvest information from our website other than anonymous statistics and the details of those who sign up to our newsletter mailing list via the website. We use third-party services, e.g. AWStats and Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow third parties to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

OUR WIFI: If you are visiting our offices and use our guest WiFi we will manually record your name, company name and the time/date the WiFi passcode was given to you. These records are stored in a secure location on our premises and the record destroyed after 12 months.

OUR NEWSLETTER: Unless we’re communicating with you about a specific project with which we are (or have been) all involved, we will only contact you with information that we believe to be important and useful by way of an occasional newsletter. If at any time you want us to stop sending this information, please either let us know via info@escuk.com or simply unsubscribe via the link at the bottom of the update email.

We use a third party provider, SendInBlue, to deliver our newsletter – their privacy notice can be found via this link. If you sign up to our mailing list, your data (name and email address) will be handled and stored by them. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies for the purpose of monitoring and improving the information we send.
