Queen Victoria House & The Vincent

We have recently undertaken our final inspections at Queen Victoria House, Bristol, before the building is handed over to PegasusLife/LifestoryGroup

As Mechanical & Electrical Consulting Engineers for this fabulous project, we were pleased to deliver a scheme incorporating the latest technologies including a community heating system with Heat Interface units and Combined Heating and Power Plant (CHP).

A fibre backbone with integrated IRS system which provides residents with superfast internet, phone and TV services, and full safety systems including sprinklers, smoke extract ventilation, fire alarm and warden call systems all linked to the on site concierge and off site facility.

In addition to the M&E role, ESC also undertook the BREEAM assessment on the project, achieving a BREEAM UK Refurbishment ‘Very Good’ for Queen Victoria House and BREEAM New Building ‘Very Good’ for The Vincent.

This stunning retirement living property comprises of the historic Queen Victoria House, converted into individual apartments and communal lounge/dining area, and newly built The Vincent which comprises of individual apartments, swimming pool, gym, spa and underground car park.

The two buildings are linked together by a Victorian-inspired arboretum with blossom pool and listed Obelisk.
