    The Brief

Tasked with creating an inherently low-energy building, ESC collaborated with the Architect and Spa Designer to engineer a visually impactful building envelope that minimises energy loss.

Our dynamic thermal modelling simulation software optimised glazing and brise soleil on the rear elevation, offering panoramic views of the grounds and golf driving range.

Embracing sustainability, our design incorporates low-carbon and renewable technologies, featuring air-to-water air source heat pump systems and an integrated roof photovoltaic array. A heat recovery ventilation system ensures fresh air circulation, and a fully digital Building Management System (BMS) optimizes control, providing demand flexibility and energy efficiency.

Achieving full compliance with the 2013 Building Regulations Approved Document Part L2A, our spa stands as a testament to engineering excellence and environmental responsibility.
