Congratulations go to Vicki Wilson who is now a qualified BREEAM AP (Accredited Professional)!

The BREEAM AP qualification is only granted to suitably experienced construction professionals who can prove their knowledge of environmental design and associated design process enabling the delivery of buildings that meet BREEAM certification requirements.

BREEAM AP’s provide the design team with expert advice on built environment sustainability, environmental design and environmental assessment as well as facilitating the team’s efforts to successfully schedule activities, set priorities and negotiation of the trade-offs required to achieve the targeted BREEAM rating during the formal assessment of the design.

In recognition of the significant contribution a BREEAM AP can make to the design process, extra credits are given in some BREEAM schemes for appointing and using an AP.
